The Christian Dilemma

The Christian Dilemma

With this story, I want to point out some of the problems that Christians face every day. A true Christian believes what the Bible shares about God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, Heaven and Hell. We pay special attention to what Christ said and did while walking the earth. Time is named after Christ, “Before Christ, After Death” I would say that leads to a great deal of credibility and a very special reputation! Christ often spoke about Hell and Satan. He went as far as telling people to pluck out their eye if it was causing them to sin! Sharing that they would be better off being blind now rather than going to Hell later on! A Christian will take that literally and very seriously.
>     Let’s take a little sidebar here with a person with no faith. Let’s say that your good friend Tom calls you up and says he received a fantastic job offer from from Jack Black. The offer has an amazing salary, new car and private jet on call any time he needs to travel. Tom explains that the perks  are unlimited and he feels that he and his family are going to be well taken care of for the rest of their lives! He is anxiously waiting to hear your thoughts of approval and excitement but Houston we have a problem! You have a close friend whom you trust with your life that personally knows Jack Black and has spoken about him in the past. It’s not like your friend to talk bad about somebody but several times he shared information about Jack that was down right scary! Two of Jack’s previous employees that were high up in the organization disappeared without a trace one day. They were found a year later and autopsy’s revealed that they were tortured and murdered in a horrific way! So what do you do here? Do you share information that you firmly believe to be true and warn Tom? Knowing all along, that if you do, you might be spoiling the business opportunity of a lifetime? Or do you sit on this information and hope Jack isn’t as bad as he seems?
>       I would hope whether you are a Christian or not that, without a doubt, you would warn your friend about Jack!   The dilemma that Christian’s face is that our close friend that we trust with our life is Jesus Christ. Christ personally knows the Devil and knows how heartless and brutal he is!
> It should be very difficult for a Christian to sit on his or her hands regarding sin. My question to my unbelieving or uncertain friends ; do you want us to just sit down and shut up or are you ok with considering that some of what we say might be worth listening to??

If you have decided you would like to listen and read, This is the place: bringthefaith.net -  God Bless, Glenn Thompson
