"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment onto the Son." —Jesus Christ

I went to the barn late this morning and checked on all the horses. Everything seemed in good order, so around nine, I headed off to church. The preacher man told this beautiful story of a visit he made to his childhood town in the dead of winter. He said he was walking through town, and outside of the old liquor store was a man sitting in a chair with his dog lying by his feet. As the preacher got closer, a cold breeze kicked up, and he watched this man stand up, take his sweater off, and wrap it around his dog! He mentioned the unconditional love the dog must have given him over the years! I drew a comparison to Christ dying on the cross and wrapping a sweater around all of us. Some of us take the sweater off and throw it on the ground, and others look up and are thankful. Me, I’m a sweater guy. I have enormous respect for what Jesus Christ did for us all! Every one of us is on death row, and we need to make important choices before we die. We need to make the decision if we are going to focus on the world and play the devil’s game, or are we going to choose God’s plan and have faith in his Son and repent? Time goes by in the blink of an eye, and all those sins that the world now makes acceptable need to be cleared from your slate. If you want to spend eternity in Heaven, I highly recommend you put on the sweater!
